I have a problem during/ after endurance events. I ride well, my legs feel good, no cramping, I get hungry, , thirsty , I'm able to eat and drink. Usually when I am done with the race, I stop, sit down, sip some water/sports drink and within 5 minutes, waves of nausea hit me and don't let up for a couple of hours. Anyone experience anything similar? Or have an explanation as to why I feel fine ( although spent) on the bike, but as soon as I sit down, this hits me?

Thanks :madman:

Withdrawal symptoms from the narcotic affect of riding perhaps? Try some recovery drink (Hammer Recoverite is good) and stay on your bike for 10-15 minutes after the race gradually winding down to zero effort. Try this after a long training rides to see if it helps. YMMV
