Heading up to Sedona to pre-ride the SBFL if anyone wants to join (my crew is all busy, so I am flying solo). Plan is to ride the loop from JT bike to Basha's (around 45 miles) then bike back over to the BBQ/Beer at Bike&Bean.

Tomorrow, I'd like to do up National and leave to Sedona for camping at the Beaver Flats after the ride.

Hey what happened to Havasu TRI!!! O well, I agree mtn biking is more fun than tri's. BTW, turns out TRI-Sports didnt ship my rental wet suit in time, I'm going bare skin for the swim!

See ya soon though.
How did it go? My carpool fell through at the last minute and Jim at Bike & Bean was throwing a party, and I had to finish the pre-ride, yada yada yada. you know. It was a free weekend of mt biking and beer in Sedona.

I did pretty well for my first Olympic Tri. I barely trained for the run. Finished with a time of 2:51. The bike course was extremely windy and hilly. Awesome course though
Nice job, and all w/o a wetsuit  When is your next one?

I had my only mini tri in Sedona, trying to forge the creek two times to complete the loop. Best part of the whole thing: interrupting the wedding all soaked and having everyone watch me go across the freaking deep creek. I had a major dilemma when I hit the north side, should I try to bike across the rocks to escape as quick as possible or just walk my bike? I did a little bit of both while the wedding continued.
