This came in this morning... I was so friggin stoked to put it together! I pressed the headset and installed the fork at lunch... then did the rest as soon as I got home from work.

I haven't gotten a chance to weigh it yet. I am also changing the grips/saddle to black when I get a chance.









Build:

Frame: Niner Air9 Scandium
Fork: Reba XX
Headset: Chris King - Red Sotto Voce
Wheels: Stan's ZTR Arch
Tires: Schwalbe RaRa 2.25/2.4
Crankset: Shimano SLX with Niner Chainring (deanodized)
Chainguide: MRP 1x
Chain: KMC X10sl Gold
R Derailleur: SRAM X9 10s
Shifter: SRAM X9 10s
Handlebars: Salsa Pro Moto Carbon Flat - 680mm // 5 Degree
Brakes: Avid Elixir X.0
Grips: ESI Chunky White (Changing to black Chunkys)
Saddle: Charge Knife Ti (Changing to black Knife)
Pedals: Crank Brothers Candy SL - Red
Seatpost: Thomson Elite
Seatpost collar: Salsa Lip Lock
Cassette: Shimano SLX 12-36

I am thoroughly impressed. I usually pick apart builds but you did a stellar job and your style is very tasteful.

KEEP THOSE ESI CHUNKIES CLEAN!!!

Very nice build. my guess on weigh would be about 24.75lbs. Reminds me a bit of another bike I saw. What size chainring are you running. I've toyed with the idea of going 1x9. Is that a long cage derailleur you are running?

Here is mine with many parts from Tree Fort Bikes.

Short Cage X9 Rear
Bonty RXL Stem

Here's an updated photo... Currently weighs 22lbs 5 oz.

Adam, very simple beautiful build. Question for ya, why the Arch over Flows for a 2.25/2.4 combo.? Wouldn't the flows and their width be better? Great Job with build, now I just need to break my Caffeine frame so I can convince the wife I need a Niner ht Frame.:D

The Arch's are lighter and have held up GREAT! So IMO no reason to go beefier.
