That's just one of the amazing things Brian Baylis can do with paint and cold steel. Yes, that's a Silica Impero, painted and leafed to match the seattube, which it does, to the millimeter. Granted it's the man's own bike, but every other Baylis I've seen has been stunning.jonowee said:Astonishing attention to detail!
In the last set of pics, did you (or some else) paint what looks like a pump next to the seattube?
FWIW, Baylis framesets start at $3K, and the wait is around 3 years.jonowee said:Did a little search on Mr Baylis, and this guy's work is nothing short of amazing!
Perfectly polished steel... just amazing. (probably hand polished the lugs)
