Doing downhills monday afternoon at 40kph, this 3 feet or so barbed wire got hooked onto my rear wheel, nasty scratch on the rim and ripped my tire to pffffft.
Now my 2 day old tire got a 40mm diagonal tear on its left sidewall. Whew! good thing it didn't happen on the right sidewall or else deraileur got damaged too.
As for now, I can't think of throwing it.

Any violent ideas? Tips? Advices?

40mm gash? it's dead!

So will not suggest sewing it up with dental floss using a baseball stitch- it will not work. Then do not glue a piece of nylon pack cloth on the inside of the casing from bead-to-bead and do not cover the outside with Shoe Goo. It will not work.
