So i've been MIA for a while due to injury, work, school and some other personal reasons. Been dealing with depression for the past few months and am glad that i'm finally getting my life back together. My girl though had her **** taken cared of though. As i was out of action, she was busy with some diet plan and lost quite a bit of weight. She looks great and feels great... check it out... XD

thanks to Sonny who helped me with the shock hardware complications... XD

That's a sweet ride. How's that rear air shock feel? I just haven't ever had a air shock feel as smooth/plush as a coil-over. I have no idea what my M1 weighs, don't care too much I guess. I don't think a few pounds either way would make me a better rider.

You racing pro, getting on the podium and such? Just curious as to what the driving force is behind you getting your bike so light. I know there are quite a few weight conscious DH'ers out there now days.
No idea on how the shock performs just yet. Just slapped it on 2 hours ago. Wont be able to tell til maybe like a month later after i have it dialed. It definitely feels different though... XD

No i dont race pro. I'm actually hella slow. Got the bike light as i was injured for a while and just was not able to ride for quite some time. What else could i do? well, do the math and shop... XD
welcome back

The bike looks nice. Be careful on those big jumps, don't want anymore broken clavicle's!

have fun on the trails....
good to see you finally got everything straightened out. What did you end up doing for the shock hardware? I'm going to have some hardware machined by a friend of mine.

got 15.6mm hardware for M6 and drilling it out to 7mm
That is a very good looking chumba F5
Ive always liked the look of them

When you get some ride time on it, reckon you could give a little review of the Manitou revox? Im very interested to see how they perform, as im looking to replace the DHX 5 on my kona bass which is getting a bit long in the tooth
Music Major = Life taken over.

Hence why I am a Music Minor.

Glad you're back on your bike though...I wanna ride mine...
Could have opted for the X-Fusion H3LT, Poh!

A friend has a Manitou Evolver ISX 6 and it definately feels good, nevertheless it has been a pain in the ass to setup properly, or at least that's what my friend has told me.
Dude, you were ripped off! there's no spring!!! How are you going to go big with no spring? I guess when you weigh 89.5 pounds soaking wet, in full body armor, you dont need a spring:p

Cheer up, well have to hit the star and or Pacifica again soon!
nickm2r - Thanx... its not a revox, it's an isx6

raptordude - yea dude, past few weeks have been up at 4:30 and get home at 11pm every night. Gets old pretty fast. Youre a music minor???

mike - yea, but i've been eyeing an isx6 for a year plus, about time i jumped on it... XD

tacubaya - did my run today with 60psi in the reservoir and running 35%sag with one click on high speed compression and none on lo speed. Bottom out is set at 1. So far feels pretty darn good. In the parking lot and when you just hop on it definately feels different but on the trail it feels pretty similar to coil!!!

TimF - no dude, its an invisible spring... :p Yea dude, we need to ride... XD
sweeetttttt....

Yeah, It felt a bit like coil and most of the tuning desperation was associated with the frame linkage system (Banshee Rune). He felt that small changes did big improvements or ruined the feel of the shock, so one day he felt it was okay.. he tried to improve the settings and ruined it so he constantly came back to square 1. Nevertheless it has so many adjustments and options that I believe it was a BIT of a pain in the ass to tune properly.

she goes to sjsu, played a couple gigs with her a couple weeks back... not sure if she's taking symphonic band... but thought she would be...
Depression sucks big time. I bet it feels great to actually want to ride your bike again.

Keep it positive.
Poh!

Some guy named Tom with a Chumba is wondering when you're gonna head out to Pacifica :D
