The frame is beefed up at the headtube/downtube junction so it can handle a slightly taller fork. It also has tabs to mount chainguides and the rear dropouts are Thru-12, not the standard QR. Other than that, same thing.

You may find the angles marked on the XC/FR settings are different to the 'normal' frames but that only due to the different length forks fitted as standard.
eg: Fit the normal 140mm forks and the angles are the same, as the std frameset.

prophet 4x and mx frames are the same, prophet 4x came out earlier
I was just checking out my frame and it looks to have the same tubes and welds as a standard prophet....where did they beef up the frame on the mx1
The underside of the downtube, just behind the headtube should have a reinforcing gusset.
The MX also doesn't have a water bottle cage mount on the downtube. Small difference, but I thought it was interesting being that my regular Prophet has them.
