Maybe you should go to a shop and have them installed

I pedal wrench is one of my tools that I'm soooooo thankful I bought.

Exactly what mine weigh.
whats wrong with using a normal wrench over a pedal wrench?
Regular 15mm wrench is almost always too thick to fit in the space on the spindle. Pedal wrench is usually quite a bit thinner than a regular one.
I second the
"so happy I got a pedal wrench"
relatively cheap and makes it alot easier.

But if you have the allen key in the end, and you have a 1/4" drive and the right allen socket size for the pedals that is great as well.

ahhh ok, i only use TIME pedals so ive never ran into that problem. gearwrenchs are also thinner than something like craftsman wrenches

A regular old wrench has worked on all my bikes so far.
