Thanks man! Busting it out for the first time tommorrow on some of my favorite local SS
Nice. I couldn't tell what this would be about from the thread title. I just thought "sigh, my last show was in New Jersey. I should check this out".

my last was Nassau Coliseum, 1991, 3 nights, second night absolutely rocked! nice jersey!
My last show was in St. Louis, MO in July of 95', the 2nd to last run before the Grateful Dead would no longer exist

For a 95' show it really wasn't to bad

I just wish I could have seen them in 77', before Jerry began his little heroin habit

Oh well, I am just glad I was able to see the shows I did. The memories will last a lifetime.
I would almost consider trading in all of my live musical experiences in for any of the may '77 shows.

My last show was RFK '95.

Do you make it a habit to open threads you know you won't like just to act like a jackass? Must suck to have such a pathetic existance.

NYC Palladium '77, wasn't even into the Dead when some "customers" offered me a ticket. I figured what the hell, it beat getting burned for the cash. What an incredible night that was.

'77 was an awesome concert year in general.

-Quite the run, eh? :eekster: There were a lot of repeats and yeah, they probably weren't taking as many "musical chances", getting "out there" on that tour. Sh!t, they were tight though... for the G. Dead that is. The groovy, jazz like G. Dead.

free lovin' disappeared ages ago! Oh wait, you meant to pick on :p
nice jersey! i want it, but i must say...

phish is better... and i got to see them on their last tour for two days here in my town!
I NEED ONE.
Unfortunately, Ive never seen the grateful dead, so i have to rely on stories frome dear old dad. However, I have seen the stones and aerosmith. Both excellent shows.
To echo what most have said, that's a darn fine jersey. Where'd ya get it if I may ask?

Right now I'm listening to 1977-05-08 at Cornell Univ. Great show. Some folks told me to check it out because Phil is smoking on this one, and so far, they ain't lyin'.

Enjoy the jersey and wear it with pride!
5/8/77 is a classic and a ver popular SBD/AUD matrix. Phil is dropping bombs on that one.
