I've just finished ordering all the shiny new bits required for my Epiphany build and I thought I would post it up and see what you guys think.
I live in the UK and will be riding mostly on non-man made trails, up north in the mud and rain; the Lake district; Northumberland and the odd trip up to Scotland's Seven Stanes. Will also be using it for some endurance events this year (100km Merida Mountain Marathons) and hopefully a couple of 24/24's. Any (useful) comments welcome. [Parts have been chosen with me in mind (155lbs (70kg) and easy on bikes). ]
Frame Size & Color:19" Anodised Black
Fork: Pace RC41
Shock: Fox RP23
Brakes: Avid Juicy Ultimates (160mm F&R)
Cranks: Tune Bigfoot with Middleburn Slickshift Hardcoat rings (Black)
Bottom Bracket: Tune
Shifters: XTR
Front Derailleur: XTR
Rear Derailleur: XTR
Pedals: Time ATAC XS Carbon
Stem: Thomson Elite (Black)
Handlebar: Easton Monkrylite Lo-Riser Bar CNT
Seatpost: Easton EC90
Saddle: Undecided Yet
Cassette: XTR
Chain: SRAM PC991
Headset: Chris King (Black)
Grips: Undecided
Front Rim: Mavic 717
Front Spokes: DT Swiss Revolution
Front Hub: Tune King
Rear Rim: Mavic 717
Rear Hub: Tune Kong
Rear Spokes: Dt Swiss Revolution

Whole thing should come in at about 24lbs; which I feel is fairly respectable for a 5.25" travel bike.......
What does everyone else think??
