The Kleinondale is back.

European Hi Mod 1. IMO better than the Team model. And i,ve ridden both. The SLRs look awesome.

More photos to come, but I cant get out on it at the moment for the snow.

I also have photos of the new Cannondale SI Carbon crankset. Which is divine

you should definitly put a seat on it LOL!!! Great lookin bike. Please give us a good personal reveiw of its performance. Have fun!!!!

I have three seats to put on it. But the USE seat bolt is to small for the Selle Italias. So i,m tyring to get a longer bolt for the seatpost.

Use has 2 types of cages for saddle rails

carbon and normal ...

i guess you have the normal one, here in Italy HiMod1 is arriving with a Fizik with steel rails

carbon type is wider

need one for carbon saddles ?

Yes I have the one for the Fizik steel rails.

My Selle Italia rails are carbon and too fat for the cage. So I need the carbon cage, where can I get it.

there's not supposed to be a saddle on this bike, he's saving weight!!

maybe for the wheels and price only ...

Team model has XX , a carbon saddle with Use clamp fitting it ...

Team model is overpriced and not worth it. I rhode one and you would never tell the difference.

XX is not needed and neither are the carbon rims.

The SLRs look much better than the Carbon rims that come on the team model. Plus XTR is still king.

Plus you will save whopping £2000 by getting the hi mod 1!!!!.

I saved £2200 over the Team model and I got a Hollowgram crank included.

KA says it makes sense :thumbsup:

Congaratulations! Best hardtail on the market with the best fork, best crankset, very good practical wheels wrapped with great tires.

Better than the Team/Ultimate depends of your priorities, the higher budget is in the list, the bigger the Ultimate takes a hit even though it's lighter and has better specs. I think that XX is waaaay ahead of Shimano (even X.0 is ahead IMO) but still, XTR is a no-nonsense group, it's a bit boring, heavier but it does it's job.

Having been on a test ride on an Ulitmate, I wasnt impressed by the spec.

The bike made my purchase a Flash, but not the groupset.

Scotts Scale RC is £700 cheaper than the Flash Hi Mod 1 and £2700 cheaper than the Flash Ultimate!!!! The Scale has full XX and is one hell of a serious bike. So if I had wanted an XX bike I would have gone for the Scale for sure.

My last bike had full X-0 but I have always been a Shimano person. XTR may not be bling but its always been the king of the groupsets.

The saving in weight and minimal perfomance increase of XX does not justify the price.

I should weight my bike compared to the Ultimate and I bet theres not even 1.5lb between them.
