Here are some pictures of my new 96er, I found this at a local Bike Shop,
they built it up as an experiment.Since I know the owner of the shop he was
kind enough to let me take it out for a spin to see if I like it. The deal was pay
him $700 and if I like it keep it, if not return it and put the money towards something else.

It has a pretty top gear build list so I am convinced it is a killer deal.

I think I will keep it. I did not really even notice the larger front wheel when riding
it in any odd way, and it sure was nice on the decents. It has been a long time
since I have ridden a mountian bike, so it was easy to be a convert to the 96er idea.

Only thing let todo is have the shock cut down, they did not cut it until they knew who was going to own it and where they wanted it.

NICE!
and for 700$, sounds like you got a helluva deal!
And if any rabbits get in your way, just go left a bit and you can have rabbit stew after you extract it from yoiur rear derailleur cable. ;)

I actually never noticed that, I guess it is a bit long....I will get that fixed when the fork tube is cut short.

Still love the bike, despite her minor flaws.
Pretty good deal
That's more than a pretty good deal. Nice score. Enjoy it!

Nice colors, too

Wattadeal, the components and forks alone...

Nice color coordinated bevarage in the water bottles. I think you should stick with whatever that is - green gatorade maybe - just for aesthetic reasons.
What a score for $700, jelous...ENJOY!! ;)
