2004 Cannondale Jekyll- only thing stock is the frame :thumbsup:

Ive owned plenty of other bikes but this is the first Cannondale I have built up. The only bike that has come close to this bike was the 2003 Santa Cruz Superlight. It beats the Gary Fisher hifi deluxe 29er by a mile, it beats the specialized stumpy fsr expert also. Very happy with my first Cannondale. The lateral stiffness is amazing. Very snappy too! :thumbsup:

Yeah I am very proud of it!

I owned a Santa Cruz superlight before this one and I feel that I am almost faster on his ride than the SC

BTW just weighed it- 28.92 lbs on an XL frame (with new bashgaurd, after mud cleaned off, no big nasty pedals)

Updates! And disclaimer....The pedals are on there because I commute to campus on this bike everyday and rocking clips and shoes isnt very practical...I need new flats...

I looked at that rear drivetrain pic and realized it needed to be cleaned

They were like 8$ on ebay but it took like 2 weeks for them to get here...

Are the caps available in red ?
That would have worked well with the rest of your red parts !
I have a real nice Rush that I started adding upgrades and bling that
I too commuted to work but the nicer it got , the more I feared it getting
stolen or parts taken so now I have a MTB beater I commute on and leave
my Rush for the trails :thumbsup:

Yeah they were available in red but they were supposed to go on another bike but i sold it so I kept them and I didnt want to spend more money to get some red ones lol

Yeah I am currently building a single speed road bike for daily commuting. Its pretty fun but as of right now I do everything I can to keep it safe. I really want a red salsa lip lock collar so anyone wanna buy my black one? :lol
