My Hadley's are awesome!

Today, my new Marzocchi 44 Bomber 29'er fork arrived, set up at 140mm. (Thanks Ronny and Bobby Acuna over there at Marzocchi in Valencia, CA) I'd been planning this for a while, being able to swap out between my big Manitou Dorado, and something a little more "trail" ride friendly on my WFO.

Found out that the Marz is set up with a 15mm axle, while all my Hadley front hubs are set up for 20mm through axle.

One phone call to Suzanne Hadley (Mike Hadley's wife) at Hadley Racing hubs, and I've got 15mm conversion ends on the way, should be here by Monday.

When things are this easy to solve problems of any sort on my Hadley's, and having self service capabilities myself... it makes it very easy to sing the praise and give kudo's to this mom and pop, Made In USA shop and want to give them my business when it comes to top notch hubs for all of my mountain bikes.

Hadley is the Bomb

Amen brother. I had a small issue with something and I called them up, and about 3 days later I had the parts to resolve my problem. At no cost to me for anything. No charge for the parts or shipping. Does it get any better than that?
Wow! Got back from my ride, and there was an envelope from Hadley in the mailbox today, with my 15mm conversion ends. Outstanding! Order early on Friday morning, it shows up in the mail on Saturday!

Thanks Mike and Suzanne!

Agreed Hadley service is great, probably the best in the business! It's even better if you live close to the shop. Been there a few times and they are great people!
Spent about an hour this morning putting on a Marz 44 Bomber with 15mm axle, after pulling the Manitou Dorado with a 20mm axle, off of my Niner WFO . Piece of cake switching the Hadley axle ends with the proper open end wrenches. Got in a great ride as a result today... 22 miles and about 4500 vertical feet.

Very little down time with Hadley hubs. Thanks Mike and Suzanne.
So Randy, what did you think about the fork?

It's a little too soon to tell. Got some tuning to do and want to dial it in. Typical Marzocchi, smooth as buttah. More interested in durability. Time will tell.
Glad to hear all the good stuff about the Hadley's. Just ordered a wheelset using ZTR Flows with Hadley hubs....

Exactly what I'm running. Flat out works great.

Hey Randy, more time on the fork? I just installed a 10 44 RC3 ti on my trance, nice & stiff, but feels way over sprung for my 150 lbs. Compression & rebound have lots of clicks, but don't seem to do much.
Any tuning tips appreciated...
