After 3 months of almost no riding due to injury, and working 50-60 hours a week throughout (misdirected energy, I know), I finally embarked upon my first multi-day mountain bike trip: 8 days in Barancas del Cobre (Copper Canyon), Mexico. Neither words that I could write nor photos that I took will properly convey what a truly life enriching experience this was, nor how much it turns out my mind, body and soul needed this trip. I highly recommend this kind of trip to anyone who rides.

Many thanks to Noe @ http://www.geoecotours.com/ for a great trip.

I'm signed up for a multi-day trip in sept. 09 and I can't wait!
The details of daily life are often overlooked, no matter what you're doing. When traveling essentially with only the personal items you can carry on your bike, the rituals of daily life become elemental, simplified.

Looks like a blast. If you don't mind me asking, how much did your getaway set you back? Is it a package deal or...?

Duh...after re-reading the original post I found my answer.

I'm definately going to have to do one of these tours.
