Hey guys, just built up my first bike from the frame up. It was a ton of fun and I love the new ride. Haven't weighed it yet, but it's light enough for me!

Some of the parts:

Fox 34 140mm Float 29
Kona Honzo 20L frame
Thomson seat collar, Thomson 50mm X4 stem and Thomson seatpost
Shimano XT Brakes, XT Cranks, XT Rear Der & Shifter
Mavic C29ssmax 29er rims
Maxxis Ikon EXO Tires (welter weiht tubes for now).
Wellgo Magnesium Pedals
Gravity Lite Bars 800mm (I have a long wingspan at 6'6")

those Honzos look fun ...

What are you doing to keep the chain on? When i was running 1x9, with a short cage rear i only got in 1 ride before i had to come up with something to secure the chain.

I went with a bash and a N-gear jumpstop.

Sweet!!

I built my first bike 3 years ago (Paragon) and the knowledge I gained was priceless...

Looks great, hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am mine.

Also it's been my first built (by myself) and third build from a frame up. Definitely recommend to all!
