just got a 05 888rc 200mm
i was so pissed off at first when it came cause i measured out 200mm and it came out between the 2 crowns. then i pulled on the stanchions and it popped open so i was happy. it feels realy nice (especcially compared to the drop off triple). When the bike just sits there the stanchions are still compressed a little and when i pull on them they come up a bit. is this just because it isnt broken in yet? ( i only rode it around my driveway)

holy **** rob youve been pimped
nate wens your,....snif coming?
What you're describing sounds like negative travel. If you're feeling stiction, then that's a break-in issue.
Need to do same thing(888). I sold DOT allready, leg is gettin better.
Still trying to chose shiver-888RC-boxxer race(cheap).
I see u have orginal rear wheel, mine died. Rim broke (on weld), hub will be rebuild and sold (bearings died).
nice.
yea i think my brearing are dying. they were making this clunking noise and i took the wheel off and spun it and it felt like there was stuff inside like sand. i put grease in and it got betterbut i dont know if itll stay better
how long does it take to break in/?
do you know how hard it is to change the preload cause it comes with the least amount of preload and i weigh 180 so i need to change it. im just scared opening up my fork to do it cause ii dont want to screw anything up/
i like putting my dik in things

thats hot
