What do you guys think of my AM Sanction build?

Frame: 2008 GT Sanction 3 frame
Fork: Maverick DUC32
Rear Shock: Fox DHX 5.0 Air
Brakes: Saint Dual Control levers, XTR calipers
FD & RD: LX
Wheels: Mavic 819 rims with Maverick hub front and unknown thru-axle rear.
Tyres: Geax Saguarro 2.2 (Rear), Geax Sturdy 2.25 (Front)
Crankset: XTR M960 (unpolished Jones Mod) with custom 38/24 chainrings
Cassette: XT
Seatpost: Ritchey WCS
Saddle: WTB
Pedals: Xpedo G-Force
H/Bar: Truvativ XR XC/AM

That's a thing I still need to figure out.

The crankset was originally gonna go on my singlespeed. Now that I've done the Jones mod, there is nowhere to put the bashgaurd.

I've had a few I-drive and know what to expect from the suspension.
It pedals uphill very well especially the combination of the I-drive and the lockdown feature of the DUC 32 and downhill is great.

My only problems I've found so far is a bit of brake dive with the Maverick fork, I emailed the guys at Maverick and they were very helpfull with their suggestions. I've changed the oil in the damper for higher weight oil. It's much better but there is still a few things I need to play around with.

That being said I haven't bottomed out on any drops or anything. (nothing really that big)

I like it! Hitechredneck's right about the ride report though - how do you like it picking a line? From what I've heard gt has really improved their product over the last few years from what they were designing back in '04 or '05. I've ridden both the 2.0 and 3.0 in '07-'08 and I feel they were both pretty good rides after owning Giant and Bianchi rigid and HT's back in the Stone Age. Now I have the '10 Sanction 1.0 and love it.

Hey nice Sanction - it's good to see a bike with a bit of mud on it!

Where did you get a 38t chainring to fit your 960s? Just that I did a search for a similar (looking for a 34 or 38 for my 960s). It's a pretty rare BCD...

Is the shifting all good (ramps pins etc)?

I had the set custom made. Actually worked out cheaper than getting standard (XTR or Middleburn) chainrings.

No ramps, but shifts well enough for me. Though I think the jump from 38-24 might be a bit much. So next time will probably get a 26.
