Hi All,

I have a 1991 Rock Hopper Comp I purchased new that year. 2 questions. Does anyone know where this bike was made (US? Taiwan?)? Also, years later I foolishly swapped out the fork for a Rockshock fork and now I want to change it back but I don't remember what became of the original. I'm guessing that finding an original replacement is like a needle in a haystack but what would be a suitable replacement for this bike?

I just got rid of my 1990 RockHopper Sport. It had a 1" threaded fork. The original fork bent, but replacements are available.

You could try here:
(whoops! shipping is a little crazy on that one...)

??? Bike parts Forks find offers at Bikeinn

Or maybe the local bike co-op.

I am pretty sure they were all made in Taiwan except the S-Works bikes.
