i was planning on running the 2.4 up front and 2.24 out back ive heard a couple people say the 2.2 is actually wider does anyone have experience running this setup that can chime in?

The tread on the 2.2 is wider than the 2.4

However the volume on the 2.4 is larger

Also, the 2.4 actually weighs less than the 2.2.

Most people do run the 2.4/front & 2.2/rear.

I usually see riders use the same size front and rear (if both are Mutanos)

thanks for the info i think i might stick with 2.2 front n rear
