Must do rides between Colorado Springs and Solvista, Co

I'm going on a road trip from JohnsonCity, TN all the way to Solvista, Co for the national championships that start on July 17th.

I'll be arriving in Colorado Springs on July 4th and will have about 12 days with nothing to do but ride every trail between Colorado springs and Solvista.
I'll have along with me my son and 3 of his teamates from Cycleyouth. 16, 17 and 18 years of age. They all will be raceing at Solvista. Not sure if I'll race but I'll be riding every day.
Now our problem (if you want to call it a problem) is how do we find and ride every great trail your state has to offer without wasteing a lot of time searching for them.

We are traveling in a 30' motorhome and are self suficient in that we can stay the night anywhere we end up riding.
The 4th through the 8th we will be in the Colorado Springs, then make our way north.
We are all expert riders so bring it on.

When in Colorado Springs:

Cheyenne Mtn State Park: Ride the North and South Talons along with Cougars Shadow, throw in Blackmer, Zooks Loop, Boulder Run and Medicine Wheel and you've pretty much seen the park.

Palmer Park: Great technical riding--just explore it as it's hard to get really lost.

North Cheyenne Canyon: My personal favorite route is start at the trail head on Ridgeway and then up the Shutes, Gold Camp Rd to Upper Columbine, up North Cheyenne Canyon, up Gold Camp Rd to Buckhorn to Capt Jacks back down Gold Camp to the Chutes and back to the trail head.

Air Force Academy Falcon Trail: Not very technical but good single track loop 12+ miles and fairly well marked. Ride it a couple loops CW and make sure and get in at least one CCW one.

And if you're going to be here on the 8th come on over to Bear Creek Park for our Wed evening series.

LOL. You're never lost since there's city all around you. You'll just never find your car again. :p

Just to warn everyone, that's not a joke, it's a warming. Nickle will take your car if you don't make it out.
Folks, this is an old friend of mine so be sure to take care of him down there in the Springs.

I'll be sure to take him on an alpine adventure once he gets a little further north.
Tough call, but here goes:

+1 Palmer Park in CSprings for technical

Buffalo Creek next with possible overnight of RV within the park - tons of fast, flowy, singletrack -you can link big rides here 30+ miles. Suggest two days and one night.

Breckenridge - +1 Kenosha to Breck, or maybe try the Firecracker 50 loop once - 25 miles. Great high altitude, views, vertical climbing, and fast descents. There's tons of other great options.

Keystone - lift serviced DH and FR

WP - lift serviced DH and FR

Fraser - Tipperary Race Course XC

SV - great lift serviced and trail riding before or after the Nationals.

Are you taking him from Kenosha to Vail? If not... shame on you.
