I already purchased the Creative Muvo N200 ($100 at Walmart and Circuit City - with their price guarantee). It is barely bigger than the ipod Shuffle, but has a display, comes with an armband (essential - see picture of broken player above), and uses a regular AAA battery.

I almost filled out their OEM form for that very reason. Guess the camera and the ipod will have to share socks
