Hmm it varies depending on my mood, but lately it's been:

All Bets Off
Sick of it All
Redemption 87
Social Distortion
Bad Religion
The Clash

I seem to find myself in a punk and hardcore phase at the moment.

Good choices for sure and two of my favorites, but everything pales since discovering Clutch (although Kyuss is still close behind.) Listen to The Dragonfly next time you need inspiration.

On the other hand, I had a great run cleaning uphill switchbacks at Tamarancho a couple weeks ago humming Old Macdonald. Forget all the other farm animals, it's all about the Duck. Quack quack. Introducing other animals will break your rhythm, trust me.

Thank you good sir. I recently discovered Electric Wizard's "Dopethrone". Love it. PM me more suggestions in the genre if you want.

Baycats got some good choices too. You all do for that matter

I must be getting old, aside from Metalica and george thourogood
I got no clue about any of the others. Left behind in time.

AC/DC and Metalica work for me, but most of the time
I am plenty fired up anyhow.

The King

No not Elvis...King Crimson. I like most of the bands you guys posted. I didn't realize KYUSS had so many fans. Slayer is the best wakeup band for sure.

No time! I'm too busy with the little voices inside my head, specially on a night ride.....
