MTBR blows it again

bad enough they're imposing heavy- and uneven-handed censorship, as I recently pointed out. (My female dog is a *****. The english bloke was smoking a ***. Humans are **** Sapiens (this one really cracks me up). etc etc).
Now they're alienating an important subset of their readership with their current poll: How much travel does your fork have? Don't see the travel of most of my forks listed. Rigid. Zero.

Have you ever said ANYTHING positive on this board? EVER? Dang, dude, who peed in your cherrios of life? Every post from you has an explosive 'Shimano is just trying to screw us out of more dough' or 'everybody is stupid but me' kinda vibe.

Please feel free to take your business elsewhere.
Hey bulC, I got a joke for ya...

How many political idealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
...
...
...
NONE! political idealists can't change shite!!!!

MTBR is not a government agency nor are they federally funded. Its not a problem that they're "censoring" you and it isn't a constitutional issue because you're FREE TO LEAVE AT ANY TIME.

Your whining about "censorship" is a lot like when kids whine about their parents. You're free to start your own website and conduct yourself any way you see fit, but when you're under MTBR's roof, you're under their rules.
How can we miss you...

...you know the rest.

Bugger off.

Hmmmm

"Less than 80mm"

Guess that doesn't include zero.
Go Hard bulC!

I'm sure you have the unquestionable right to complain if you feel that there are any descrepancies on this site. Furthermore, I would imagine the site owners would welcome the feedback regardless of the fact that it's of a negative nature. Feedback helps one improve the quality of ones site :)
Sheesh some people take the internet so gawd damm seriously.

That's especially ironic, coming from a "moderator".
Dang!

First they censor you and now they're alienating you! I wouldn't let them do you like that. Take a stand.....make today your last day on MTBR!

Take a stand brother, take a stand.

Life without MTBR.com

We're pretty lucky to have this free service that works very well.

Bwahahahaha
Travel amount

Speaking of travel mine is usually 80mm and at least 150mm when rigid, or that is what I tell my wife.

What this board needs is a spelling and grammer moderator. Any one with a degree in english could have a great job fixing all of the 3rd grade grammer and spelling mistakes. I'm not harping on typos, we all make those.

My peeve is using loose when you should use lose. Loose equals about to fall off your bike. Lose equals you can't find it.

I'll take the censorship over no MTBR any day. I remember the days before the internet, and having to rely on a monthly mag with an agenda for any product reviews. Ouch!

How about starting with your post! HAHA

Spell check if you're going to complain about spelling.
What is "grammer"? Is that the new slang for "weight weenie"?

Unless we're talking about grammar.

Hehehehe

Hey how does one become a moderator on MTBR? and does one need to be 'moderate'

(100 entries found for moderate)
Entry: moderate
Function: adjective
Definition: temperate
Synonyms: abstinent, balanced, bearable, calm, careful, cautious, compromising, conservative, considerate, considered, controlled, cool, deliberate, disciplined, dispassionate, equable, even, gentle, impartial, inconsiderable, inexpensive, judicious, limited, low-key, measured, middle-of-the-road, midway, mild, modest, monotonous, neutral, nonpartisan, not excessive, pacific, peaceable, pleasant, reasonable, reserved, restrained, sober, soft, steady, straight, tame, tolerable, tolerant, tranquil, untroubled

I think I'm all of the above especially inconsiderate. But 'pacific' I'm not so sure about

Thats cool where did you find the synonyms?

I must be the wrong person for the job. I think I am going to have to hand in my resignation...

I certainly am not really
Tame
Sober - huh?
Restrained - Hardly I ride my bike 10-12 hours a week at the bare minimum!!
Straight - in what sense?
Low Key - That would be bo
Conservative etc

If you want to moderate or be a moderator or be moderated check with gregg...

Dictionary.com (thesaurus search) But no I've changed my mind Trev. I definately lack the credentials. Unless they are looking for troll-moderators. I can do that mate! :)
