Would the Mountain States Cup merging with the Intermountain Cup and Go-Ride DH Series be a good thing in the crusade against NORBA?

Hmmm...

Are the different series currently conflicting with each other?

If not, and they combined, it would almost certainly be better for local riders than NORBA. The ability to tap regional resources to put on local races is really helpful, and it's this local business support that NORBA can't draw from when they are looking for operation funds or prize money. Since NORBA is nationally focused and apparently quite foolish when it comes to gravity events, it wouldn't be too difficult for a retarded chimp on crutches to do a better job, especially if the chimp was kind of cute, and had a little hat. But that's a given - nobody is going to help out a race series run by an ugly chimp.

I would think it would.... At my, level intermediate to expert, in the NORBA it is kinda intimidating to race since you are racing people country wide, supposedly. But if I were racing people more local and not so national I wouldn't be so reluctant.

Not only that you get to race trails in your neighborhood... not on the east coast (snow mass, diablo, etc). Prizes would also be very local. Most of the people come to Norbas are also mostly local to the areas....

We're currently inquiring with Bigfoot productions (Yeti/MSC) on merging/having a Utah race as part of the MSC series.

We're not sending our team to the east coast Norbas next year, we will most likely be doing MSC, and west coast Norbas if there are any.

That would be sweet.

Speaking of racing, does Sundance have the course built yet?

Btw, thanks for the wrench on Saturday.
