Hey Everyone,

I recently bought a new Truvativ Noire crankset for my Trance X2.

To try and protect my new cranks and chainrings I also got a MRP XCG. After installing it, the rear triangle now rubs on the backplate of the XCG, scraping away paint and possibly some aluminum from around the rear triangle in the area of the bottom pivot bearings.

Anyone else successfully install an XCG on there Trance x ? Any suggestions ?

You probably need to trim away some of the guide to accommodate the bike. I have had 2 different chain guides on my 2009 Reign, and have had to trim them both to fit.
