Mr. Toad's conditions???

Has anybody ridden Mr. Toad's in Tahoe yet this year?

I tried to ride Hole in the Ground yesterday; what a fiasco. Lost the trail under the snow, a couple of wrong turns, and seven hours later I found my truck. I would like to get thru Toads in a little less time.

Anyone reports on the condintions at Toad's would be appreciated.

I rode it June 14th. (Dorky YouTube here.) There were a few patches of snow up top, but conditions were otherwise perfect. It's good to go.

Yes, one of the first, I suppose, June 3rd... f*cker in the rain, snow and hail killed my Edge 305. At least 60 deep snow drifts that were unrideable... best bet, call Whatabike in Meyers, CA in S Lake Tahoe and get an update for current conditions.
The Big Meadows to Toads section of the Tahoe Rim Trail has zero snow. Toads it's self has no snow as well. Ride it as soon as you can. I rode it last Saturday. It is in perfect shape. I am sure the Armstrong Pass to Toads section of the TRT is fine. Just remember if it's your first time, the Toads trail marker is called Saxon Creek. They are the same trail. Have a fun time.
Toad's

I rode Toad's today for the first time; what a ride. this is definately in the top five best rides. The climb is tough, no doubt, but it is almost all downhill after the initial 4 miles.

If you haven't ridden this ride, it is a must. Definately advanced technical and, again, a tough climb.

Good luck.
