If you're going to be in the Baltimore area, the two most recommended trails are Avalon at Patapsco State Park, and Loch Raven. You can get specifics on the MORE site listed by TiRyder. Just rode Loch Raven today. Snow on all the singletrack, but still rideable and lots of fun.

Moved from CO

I moved from CO about a year and half ago and have been surprised by how good the riding is here. As others have said, Patapsco SP is SW of Baltimore and Loch Raven is North-both are close and good in different ways. Lots of other options within a short drive in PA, VA, and WV. The terrain is much different, a lot slicker, muddier, tighter trails and you'll miss the long sustained climbs. You have to drive a bit to get to the bigger climbs. Its very easy to ride year-round here. We actually picked our house location based on close proximity to trailheads. The road riding north of Baltimore is also great.
