I am moving to Logan thursday. Just got back from 6 months in England working on an MBA, only had a few times to ride since I got back two weeks ago. Hoping there are some group rides that people don't mind if I tag along?

For some reason us Loganites aren't great for posting on here. Maybe we spend too much time riding. :D So I don't know of any organized group rides from this site.

Sunrise Cyclery used to have Wed evening group rides. Not sure if they still do.
Joyride has Sunday morning group rides but they are usually road rides.

Unfortunately I work lousy hours at USU (nights, weekends) so I can't always go for rides when others do, but if you want to try to get together sometime to ride with someone kinda slow, just let me know.

I'm old, slow and fat, but...

...you are definitely welcome to tag along. I typically ride alone or with my son (he's 17), and we wouldn't mind having company. Message me when you get in town, and we'll see what happens.

PS: I have ridden with Darkan, and he's kidding about being slow! :p

Ha! Thanks. Hey! I still need to check out that new bike of yours.

Your son must be getting to be quite the rider by now. As I recall he was already having to wait for us old guys to catch up and now he is a year older, stronger and wiser.

Look forward to hearing from you Thor. Welcome back to Logan.

I'm loving it!

I've had it out at Deer Valley a couple of times, and once at Snowbasin...it's the perfect bike for that kind of riding. I even took it to Fruita this spring, and had a ball...well, up until I broke my wrist! But that was pilot error...no fault of the bike! I'm still riding my hardtail for most of the stuff around Logan, though. The Preston is a little heavy to climb Jardine!

My son has gotten to be a good rider, but it's only one of his many hobbies...trying to start a band takes most of his time, so I still can keep up with him...kinda! :D

We need to get some rides together now that the canyon is melted out. I'd really love to try the Blind Hollow downhill, if the Forest Service ever clears it out!

Gentlemen I am here I am going to go at the River trail tonight at 6 if the rain holds off. I went running earlier today and the altitude was kicking my butt so we will see what happens tonight. If you want to join I will be passing the Nature Center about 615.
I am interested in joining in on some rides.
