So- guys. I have some assorted old parts, including a 1" threaded fork or two. http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=52395&cat=40
What I really want is not cash, though. I want to trade for parts that will help me get a bike together, an old Italian-made lugged MTB, for my little brother before he goes to college.
To see what I have, just go to the link.
Here's what I need:
-1" MTB quill stem, hopefully high rise
-1" threaded headset
-36h hubs, front can be road or MTB, rear just needs to be 135mm
-7 or 8sp cassette, gearing not terribly important
-grips
-short-pull brake levers
-non-clipless pedals
-36t 110mm bolt pattern chainring
-68mm x 122mm English thread bottom bracket
-some kind of reasonably well-functioning rear derailleur
-26.8 seatpost
-some grips

Hey, just noticed your wish list. I respnded to your classified but didnt see this list. I just broke down my 95 GT Outpost Trail which is all 1" stuff which I would be more than happy to send your way along with some cash for a few of you items. I have the original wheels/7sp hub and the derailleur and everything - the bike was in excellent shape and it was probably only ridden 30 times ever so Im sure everything is good to go. There is some corrosion on the wheels just from time but they would surely clean up well with a small amount of work. The shifters are the combo Atlus. Hit me up!
