Hello Everyone!

I am looking into a Monocog, either 26er or 29er. I am 6 ft tall, and ride a Trek 4500 18in. I have been looking at frame geometry for the Monocogs, and am wondering which size(s) would be for me. The 15in frames have the closest eff top tube to the 4500, but the 17in 26er is also close. The 17in 29er is about an inch longer, the 15in frame is just a skosh longer.

Is it normal to get a smaller framed 29er than 26er, or are these bikes just a little more stretched out than my 4500. If you were in my shoes, what would you guys do?

Thanks,

I am 6' with a 32" inseam, my 19" is a pretty good fit. I have a 2004, 26" Monocog, bought it used. I ride it more than my other rides.
Dude, this literally could have been my post. Same height, inseam, and size. Mine I just got used, and I think it's an '04 as well. It's steel with the 110mm rear spacing, so I'm fairly certain it's an '04. And I have been riding it more than my other three bikes lately, too...
