Are there any lighter frames out there that have similar geometry to the Redline Monocog?

I love my Monocog but want something a bit lighter.

Yes, but which Monocog? The basic Mc and the Flight use different geo, and it varies slightly with frame size.

The geometry specs are on the Redline website and the sites of all the other bike companies. The Mc's specs are not that uncommon.

I was hoping someone new off hand. It is a real pain going through all the frames trying to figure it out, especially when you have to convert specs from metric.

I'll figure it out.

If you like the Mono, then get the Flight. It rides the same. I love my Flight. You could also go for a D660 if you need it to be lighter than the flight.

Some of the Niner frames are close. To convert from mm to inches I have a fabric tape with me (a dress makers tape) and I just read the conversion off the tape to compare frame sizes.

I rode a 15" Monocog for most of last season before getting a 16" Scandal. The feel practically identical from a geometry standpoint. Inbred or Scandal are the same geo, just depends whether you want steel or aluminum.

The Karate Monkey is pretty close, just with less stand over. It's lighter though, there's a lot of extra steel in a MC.

So I am thinking of going with the Flight. I noticed the geo is a little different, for example tt length is 622 on the monocog and 603 on the Flight and wheelbase is 1103 on the onocog and 1098 on the Flight.

So, how do these differences affect the ride?
