I go about 268 currently, down from 291...Im looking for a full suspension bike I can have a little fun with on the trails. I found a 2008 mongoose khyber elite for a great price that I was thinking about picking up. Im not looking to huck or do big drops, just looking for a stout dual suspension bike. Will it hold up to my weight?

Make sure you get the 20mm front axle, and do not do big jumps and you should be OK.

I say should as I havn't ridden the khyber, but only the teocali (which is the lighter version).

Go with the Goose

I run 6' 260-275 lb. and picked up a Mongoose Teocali Super last year which is a bit lighter than the Khyber. I have had no problems or complaints. The bikes are solid.
