FYI, the trail is not anything like a dirt road and you could warm up a full 70 degrees and still be below the temps when we rode.

So, what I'm saying is that I'd rather ride a dirt road than deal with -27 degree weather, thanks for your comment.

With a caption about how well-timed bunny hops can keep you from getting pinch flats and/or bending rims!
Yea, when I saw that shot, and how much my rear tire is compressing, I wondered how I managed to make it through the ride without a pinch flat, as there are a lot of these log/water bars on that trail.

And the strange thing is, this bike which is much lighter than my AM ride and has much more "XC-ish" rims has been fine all these years, while my AM ride with Easton Havoc rims, I managed to ding a rim already.

Granted I ride the AM bike as if it were a mini-DH bike at times and tend to ride a bit more "spirited" on my AM ride bouncing off of things rather than going for smoother lines.

"On who's authority are you doing this?? Ummm....my own?"

At the risk of being flamed, it should be "...whose authority..."

Just thought you might want to know since it's in your sig.

Don't worry, General usually let's small (as in petty) comments like this slide. He's not easily rattled.

Very cool pics! I used one of the ones in the first post as my desktop background. Hope you don't mind.

Skinny Tire's attempt at sarcasm missed the mark.

Top Fool Seven commented on Redmon's signature.

Although the ironic and oh so funny part is Top Fool Seven catching a grammar mistake made by Skinny Tire who claims to be a writer.

This prompts one of my favorite quotes from the West Wing TV series to come out:

NASA writer: "look I don't want to step on your toes, you don't want to step on mine, we're both writers"

Sam Seaborn: "Yes, I suppose if we broaden the definition to those that can spell"

You can't believe how hard I'm laughing at Skinny Tire right now!

Thanks for the pics. I'm another cold one. The temps need to come up another 40 degrees before they reach my cut-off of 20 degrees F. Maybe next week:rolleyes:
