hi, i'm a new member from italy, i buyed a bmc fourstroke frame without shok, and now i'm in search of a rigth shock for these frame.
i like monarch rt3 but i i don't know which tune(high-mid-low or a-b-c-d).
somebody can help me?

ok, thanks, my leverage ratio is 1.754. my tune is D tune.
but now i have a new problem because in 2011 a-b-c-d not exist.
in 2011 the tunes are low-mid-high.........which is the equivalent?

1.7 doesn't sound right - what's the travel and shock stroke ?

Yeah, 1.7 does not sound right. Normally it's over 2.0. If you're not sure, you can play it safe with the mid-tune. But it'd be better to get it dialed in exactly.

Also, if you're a light rider (60 - 70 Kg), I definitely recommend the High volume RT3 (hi, mid, or low tune). It is well suited to light riders - I can vouch for that. The RT3 is an excellent shock - on par with the RP23, but slightly firmer yet still manages to soak up bumps as well or better than the RP23.

I may have solved my doubts,in the same store also sold a fox rp2 for 200euro.
I think that it will buy it.
what do you think? is a good price?

I wouldn't buy an RP2 or 23 or whatever Float series over a Monarch, but that's my take on it. The Monarch is "more" tuneable and user-serviceable.
