Does anyone know how the trails out there are looking these days? I am a native OG'ian/mtb fiend who has never ridden out there before and was thinking about heading there from PDX this weekend. Is it a worthwile ride? I primariliy ride SW WA and Hood River on the weekend, Powell Butte to keep in shape during the week, weather permitting of course.

Hey, I was was riding around there, from the Hardy Creek Trailhead, yesterday and the trails were very wet. The gravel was rideable, but the trails too muddy. Much of the singletrack still has closed signs on it.

IMO, Molalla is not worthwhile.
If you're looking for new, try Eightmile or Knebal Springs, just east of Mt.Hood.

Wait till there's been at least 3 weeks of totally dry weather before hitting Molalla. The clay soil out there holds water for a crazy long time.
