Well, that ride did not suck. We had a great local leader (Chad) who guided us and we ran into the SDMB group in a couple spots. Fantastic views and some really tasty technical bits are what this ride is about. Thunder Canyon was a great post ride place for food and beer. I have some pics to post after a shower and another beer.

Yes. Wow. What a great ride. Glad my trip south timing allowed me to make this one. Very very fun trail. Great group of folks. It was a pleasure to meet you all. Sorry I had to bug out on the post ride shuttle retreival and vittles.

PS: I made the rehearsal dinner and it was great. Even had time to swing by the house and shower. (Everyone else was very thankful for that).

Ok. Let's do it again!!

Son of a gun. You were in AZ and didn't even tell me. And you are skipping on spring fling. What a guy. Well, I am planning a Cowboy Trails run in sometime in February. What does the old schedule look like?

Plan is to meet at le Buzz at 10AM to arrange shuttles and then head up the mtn Greenie might be too c-c-cold but is an option to make it a longer day.... Problem is, none of us have done that portion of the trail. We would certainly welcome locals (or trail savy non-locals) to show us the way. Sundog - whatcha doing this Friday?? :D Chad? Aaron? Naked Guy?

Right now, AZ Mikey, JimBeam, BrianC, me, MB300, and Chongoman have expressed interest. Post up interested in joining the fun.

p.s. directions and maps from AZSF07... there will be no short bus this Friday. 10AM meeting time is the same though.
La Milagrosa.... ah man what a fun day we had. Sorry I had to bail to work guys w/o saying ta ta. Good ride and nice meeting you all. I did manage to squeeze in 4 fat tires after work in honor of today's ride. Cheers.

Great times in Tucson... Thanks to Chad for pointing us in the right direction along the way. The 'moth just ate this stuff up. Perhaps it just new-bike courage, but I was riding all the sections I used to walk. Wheeee!

Hmmm... not sure why pics are out of order, but you get the idea.
