How is either bike a mixte?
"A mixte frame thus has 3 sets of rear stays, instead of the usual two. A variant on the mixte uses a single, full sized top tube running from the upper head tube to the seat tube, but retains the middle set of stays. A lady's type bike that lacks the middle pair of stays is not a mixte."

I think AW does have a valid (though not obvious) point: Why are Speccy's bikes soo ugly? And what is with all the curvy tubes? Playing a little catch up with SC? Those frames were definitely designed by the marketing department. Wouldn't straight tubes be stronger?

I saw the new sx (orange bike) at N* a couple weeks ago, looked like it had been left out in the sun and melted.
Not really a fan of the "paperboy" style tubeset.

They must teach ugly classes in there marketing department gawd there ugly!
Why companies feel compelled to copy each other or attempt too I have no idea, m101 follow you own trail, maybe they got bigger problems!
Ellsworth Moment is looking dam ugly this year too trying to go with a curved look!
To me it suits the Nomad but its one of those niche things, maybe as us older guy's move on from the era of loving clean lines straight and classic we have grown up with in mtb/road, the young guns are will be sucked into this stuff!
Ughh as I said on the DH forum looks like an Enduro SL had a head on with a Demo, probably between the photocopier and printer machines!
