Hey all again.

I was wondering what would happen if i decided to stick a white bros fork on my bike, and keep the 26" in the back, yet put a 29'r up front? Im not all too serious about this, just pondering what would happen to the geometry, and if this freakish idea would even do anything.

hey...they put 24 on the back of DH bikes, and keep the 26 for stability up front right?

It will only work if your travel up front in 29" is at least 50mm less than the bike was built for in 26". The top of a 29" suspension fork sits 60mm higher above the ground than with 26". Too tall a front, and the bike will steer sluggishly.
People have done 29/26 bikes before, but I never saw one with a suspension fork.

If you bike were a 26" hardtail built for 130mm forks, an 80mm 29" fork would slacken the head angle a bit, bit would probably be killer on downhills.
