Quick Question.

I have Avid Juicy 5 disc brakes, which are brand new, but I want to get the XTR dual control STI levers for disc. Can I put brand new XTRs on to the bike, without causing problems? Or do I have to go and spend another $200 on XTR calipers as well?

Cannot be done. XTR uses mineral oil, Avid uses DOT 4 or 5.1 fluid. In addition, the size of the master cylinder may be different.

I don't like the dual control levers. They feel limp. And I keep shifting on accident (given that I do ride very aggressively).
