I've been riding the new Misfit Dissent single speed and really like it. I can't seem to get the pics to post so check it out at <http://www.cyclecambridge.com> Then I got the Surly fixer to put together my fixed gear cross bike and when I got the wheel together I couldn't resist slapping some fat rubber on and trying it off road.

Kinda scary but kinda addictive at the same time. When you ride fixed off road on technical trails your 100 percent focused on the ride or you are on your ass. I don't think I'm ready to take it up full time like some guys do but it's a fun diversion.

Yeah, just watch the skidding, or you'll PO a few people. I can't wait to start building up my 29er scorcher style!
