Did the classic Miller loop yesterday. Clockwise from Iron Creek. All trails in great shape, no snow or blowdowns. With all the negative vibes about this ride not being "worth it" "all pain no gain" etc. in Pinchflat's recent Miller report it felt good to knock it off again in reasonable order. I know a few others that like this ride too so I'm not alone. :prft:
Get it now if you want it.

Any pics looking west?
Sorry. No camera.

If yer thinking 5D's yer still a little early. Snow likely dropping down to Bean from Earl, etc.
Bunch of snow still on the upper N. slope of Jolly, you get the idea. Maybe a week from this weekend.

Are you working this Friday?

There's got to be a way to shuttle that...

:p
1. Take wheels off bike.
2. Strap frame and wheels on back.
3. Look for moto rider to haul you to top.
4. Reassemble bike, ride back down.

Or get a moto... they're a bargain compared to some of the FS bikes out there anyway, twice the travel, plus an engine, for near the same price.

Time to pick up that KTM you've been lusting over.

I'm thinking about old age and being too weak to ride it on mtb.

Could probably still twist a throttle till I'm 85 or 90...

90 years old ontop of Starvation Mountain

for real ... met a guy on the top of Starvation Mountain last year who was 90 years old, on a Honda 90, all wrinkled and bent over, but with a grin on his face and a twinkle in his eyes
