Hey everyone.

In spring, when the weather gets warm and the trails are dry, we should plan a ride. That would be a blast... what does everyone else think? We could set a meeting place that is convenient for everyone. Any suggestions, thoughts?

Sounds great as long as the spring trails are dry (which they usually are NOT). Spring in the midwest usually wet with not much dryout time. Keep your hopes up and maybe we'll get a semi-dry spring.

We schedule rides at Palos, Deer Grove (Paletine), Saw Wee Kee (Oswego), Rock Cut (Rockford) and other places including the Kettle Moraine trails in Wisconsin.

Springtime........one of life's great pleasures........blooming flowers.......gnome mating season and mtb gatherings..........the key here is to find trail systems that are rocky, sandy or gravelly.

SE Michigan has two trail systems that fall into the sandy catagory and the Berryman Trail in MO is mostly gravel. All 3 have camping (on-site). The real challenge is scheduling a weekend that has decent weather.......precipitation can put a huge damper on attendance for such gatherings.
