just any Newsboy or a specific size? from the 1st series (1995-1997) with Rollercam rear brake or from the 2nd series (2002?) with disc brake?

There used to be an advertisement for the Newsboy that showed it propped up against the outside wall of an icecream shop... unattended & unlocked.

I used to wonder about what I'd do if I came accross that scene. It would be a giant test of my honesty.

yup, outside of an icecream shop is where you most likely will see these bikes

but that's a 2nd series Newsboy, not really sought after, no risk to leave it unlocked...

Yeah, I saw that too. He didn't ask until two days ago. I'm sure he would have stepped up to the plate and tried to win that one...

That's a damn fine question! He didn't stipulate 1st vs 2nd series. I will ask. He wants a large.
BTW, are you asking because you know of one? Or were you just looking for clarification?

I'm waiting for his answer on that one. I know there are two up on eBay right now. If he was me, I'd insist on the original. But he may not be as much of a fanatic as I am. Do you have a Roots you'd be interested in parting with?
