Dry and dusty in Monterey, some trails have recently reopened on the west side of fort ord. Trails 70 and 65, they're fun to link together in either direction, a little bumpy right now but they should smooth out. Not worth a trip to Monterey for but anyone that rides FO often should check them out.

Saw a few people out paragliding as I was riding out along the coast to the trials. Looks like fun.

Exchequer is dry and hard, but a lot of the grass is still pretty green. My bike fitness sucks. Need to ride more often than I have been the past few months.

New trail loop called "Lower Roadrunner" is now open. Fun short little trail with some tight switchbacks and rocky tech sections.

I was very surprised the Rangers haven't closed off that twenty foot section of mud bog.
