SOB!! Ha! I have a mutano raptor 2.2 up front that works well on sand-hardpack, has great front traction and is relatively fast. In my opinion one of the best front tires Iv'e seen so far. For loose gravel, I recomend the weirwolf 2.3, slower tire but grips very good on loose stuff. don't have any time on the maxxis you listed.

The Mobster is one of my all time favorite front tires. Not sure about pavement use though since it has widely spaced lugs, it might be a little bumpy.

I really liked both the mobster and the high roller tires from maxxis but had problems with side wall tearing with both of them. I switched over to Continental Explorer pros a few years ago; they are my favorite tire by far. Very light, roll well and hookup good enough.
