Hey, Does anyone know where you can buy a maxle separatly from a fork? Also will a maxle work on my For 36 Van? Thanks

The "Maxle" only works with RockShox forks designed to use it.

Yes, but that is a different width Maxle than the Pike fork lower specific Maxle.

And there are a few companies jumping on that, but I've yet to hear of any of those frames actually for sale to the average Joe yet. I believe they are still in development stages, not yet released.

Yes, he did ask about forks. All I wanted to add is that maxles are being added to the rear of bikes now, not just RS forks. Rear thru-maxle:

to answer your question (OP's): Yes, you can buy just the Maxel. Talk to your lbs. I think I saw them for about $14 but I can't remember where. I wonder if I saw it listed at AEBIKES.com (QEB)??? or maybe the my Pike manual or on the RS website???

Interesting.... rear Maxle and Post Mount disc. That's a Yeti, is it not? I heard RS is using the PM for 07 too. Looks like it is on its way to winning out over IS.
