The forks are threaded, The maxle screws into the fork...

EDIT: ***SPAM*** I have a 20mm qr axle that cam with my ft. hub. I have a Maxle fork, so PM me if you want it..

"Maxle" is a Rockshox trademark name and the OP asked specifically about forks.

Yes, but that is a different width Maxle than the Pike fork lower specific Maxle.

And there are a few companies jumping on that, but I've yet to hear of any of those frames actually for sale to the average Joe yet. I believe they are still in development stages, not yet released.

Yes, he did ask about forks. All I wanted to add is that maxles are being added to the rear of bikes now, not just RS forks. Rear thru-maxle:

Interesting.... rear Maxle and Post Mount disc. That's a Yeti, is it not? I heard RS is using the PM for 07 too. Looks like it is on its way to winning out over IS.
