can you run the Maxle Axle from the Rock Shox forks in other 20mm thru axles?? I decided to buy the travis today instead of the domain but i still envy the MAxle design..

Or can you use Marzocchi QR 20mm with this fork?

No and no.

Travis uses the Hex-lock axle.

Maxle has threaded lowers.

Not even all QR20 axles are compatible with all Marzocchi forks. For instance, 66 axle is too long for DJ dropouts and vice versa.

Travis does indeed use the 20 mm hex lock axle but they also have a 20mm quick release version. I've been using it for close to a year on my Travis Single 150 and quite like it.

hmm interesting... can you link me to a this axle... the fork i got didnt say QR Thru Axle, but i assume i can just swap the axle out?

No, you can't just switch out the axle it's a little more complicated than that. I'm not even sure whether or not you could buy an upgrade package to go from the 20 mm hexaxle to the QR version. On the answer site I'll send you two links...
