Im thinking of getting some Maxiss Holly Rollers for heavy gravel tracks
The bike came with Huchinson Scorpians and the gravel has killed them

Does anyone know if Holly Rollers would be suitable for very loose sharp gravel??

I wouldn't think so - for starters there's no edging knobs up front to speak of so I can't see the front end holding on at all in the corners. These are basically a scaled up BMX tyre - designed with hard pack and street riding in mind.

You'd be better off with a harder compound, open knobbed full knobby like the 60 durometer High Roller in 2.35.

Thanks Dude, these are the kind of answers I need!
Even the scorpians I find it hard to keep the front end together...so all I really need like you said, something like a scorpian but a harder compound, and ill have a look at the durometer high roller, maybe im just taking those corners to quick, but I just love the feeling of having the bike just on the verge of sliding out, means Im at its limit and thats what its all about!!! thanks again
