My wife is thinking about getting the new Tracer VP to swap it for her 06 Norco Six, in order to get a lighter, more versatile bike, that can still handle the downhills

from what we´ve read here, it sounds like the Tracer is the perfect match.

she has to different wheelsets, a light one for everyday-biking and touring with Schwalbes Nobby Nic in 2.4 and a heavier one used for park riding and freeriding in the Alps with Schwalbes Muddy Mary in 2.35 (they are wider than the Nobby Nics in 2.4)

will these tires still fit with the Tracer?

I don't see why they won't since they fit the 5.5 and I believe the Tracer has better tyre clearance.

I have run a 2.4 nobby nic, a 2.35 minion and a 2.3 Gazzaloddi G without any problems. I did see a comment on a tracer post where there was a clearance issue with a Specailized 2.3. I am running mine in the 6" setting and so far so good.
